 Be Careful-Battery Likely Will Not Fit Your Computer July 22, 2009

Mambate USA, Inc. sent a battery that does not fit my computer. I have an IBM z60t laptop. I searched for that description on Amazon and this listing came up. The listing states it is for IBM z60t laptop. When the battery arrived, it did not fit. When I called, they said that many computers will have various battery sizes depending on a variety of configurations. Unfortunately, none of this is spelled out expressly during the order process. If the computer description, such as z60t, will not zero in on the correct battery, why list batteries for sale by the computer description? If the only way to assure a proper match is by a product number on the battery in your computer, then list the batteries ONLY by this method, not by computer description. They said they will refund the purchase price but not shipping. That is REALLY STUPID considering I ordered the battery for my exact model computer. Frankly, the couple dollars wasted on the shipping is no big deal, I could care less. Still, it was worth taking a minute to vent and write this review.

i got the battery, and it works, but its not giving me the kind of life that the OEM battery provided. I was hoping for 3+ hours, i get about 2
