The description for this product clearly stated that this was a battery for an Apple Macbook, but upon arrival it was clearly not an Apple battery, but a knockoff. I definitely feel like perhaps there was some deception in the description. However, since I needed a new battery and this one was compatible, I decided to keep it.
In comparison to the genuine apple battery I previously had, this battery does not keep its charge as long. It definitely works, but I seem to have to charge it more often.
I have in the past also purchased non-Apple batteries for a Macbook and found the overall life span to be significantly shorter than a genuine Apple battery, so I'm assuming that will also be the case for this one.
Long story short--not worth saving the $20 or so for a knockoff. Buy the real thing. It'll cost you less in the long run.

I was pretty hesitant purchasing a battery off the internet, especially it being used. But I was quite surprised at the quality the description said. Everything was exactly as it said it was and most importantly saved me a lot of money! Would recommend buying from them again.

I really can't say anything bad about this! It holds quite a charge very nicely, it's sleek, and it does the job well.
Apple charges a lot for their retail ones, so I've found used ones are the way to go.

As noted in above reviews, this is NOT and Apple branded battery. I bought it for slightly over $70; however, shortly thereafter, the price jumped to $120. For $120, you can purchase an authentic battery directly from Apple, with free shipping.
For the price I paid, if the battery lasts for one year, I will be happy. It fits very snug, and the "feel" while installing it is of a product that does not fit perfectly. The white plastic on the bottom that is supposed to match the Macbook's bottom case, is slightly off in color, and its edge doesn't perfectly line up where it and the Macbook meet.
Upon installing it, it appears as the manufacturer did initially charge it. While viewing System Profiler>Power, the battery already had 2 previous charge cycles, and was accepting a charge from my Macbook.
Time will tell...

When my MacBook battery started to lose its ability to keep a charge, I ordered this replacement, figuring I could always swap the two batteries to extend usage time. However, this battery works so well, including maintaining its "health" over time and multiple charges, that I have simply retired the old one. I get a good three hours of use, even with graphics-intensive software, and it charges fairly quickly. I highly recommend this battery for anyone considering a replacement.
