The cord over heated and melted the yellow part with only 3 days of use! I have since gotten a different cord, from a different maker, and have had no problems. I would not purchase this cord again.

I'm very happy with this replacement cord, the item came exactly as it looked on the pictures from the website.
If there's only one complaint is that I wish it came with a longer cord. But not really a problem i just used the cord from the old adapter and it works fine.

My husband's power cord stopped generating power about a year into his ownership of his HP laptop, and when we priced the replacement cords locally we were astonished to discover they were over $100. The poor guy went for months with his power cord taped into any configuration which would give his laptop power, before i was surfing one day and spotted this one for $13! This was a NEW product, and we've had it for 4 months and it works perfectly - EXTREMELY happy with this purchase, in every way!
