This I purchased to replace my old adapter when I had to replace my battery, it works just the cord is very short. If you plan to use as your primary adapter keep in mind the distance to your power outlet.

The one I bought died two months to the day that I ordered it. That means it did not even last two months of use. Sure, it helped for a little bit but I agree with another that it got very hot during it's very short life. I could find no warranty for this product. Won't do this again!

I purchased 2 of these for my laptop less than 3 months ago and both have stopped working completely. It has been a total waste of money and time.
