Disappointed... July 23, 2010 ScienceAndMath (Texas, USA) 2 out of 5 found this review helpful
I bought these binoculars as a midway purchase between the $100 cheapies and the $1000 professional binoculars. The only difference I can note so far between these and the $100 cheapies are these are lighter. The view is no better or larger. I would not pay what I did for these binoculars again and would not recommend anyone do so either. Hope this review helped...
8 x 42 Monarch binoculars July 22, 2010 Keith 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
The bincoulars are clear and light weight. The quality is apparent and the focus and brightness are great for the cost. The only thing I don't particularly like is the lens covers. The front and rear lens covers are a problem. They do not fit securely to the bioculars. The front covers come off the binoculars when they are removed from the case. Also the carrying case secures with velcro which is extremely loud when unfastened which is not conducive to a hunting environment. These issues are mainly with the binocular accessories not the actual binoculars themselves. The function of bringing objects to closer view with extreme clarity and brightnes is superb. I have only had them for about a month so I can't attest to their durabiltiy, but the warranty they come with speaks volumes for the manufacturer's confidence in their workmanship.
Well Made Binoculars July 14, 2010 old Dog 1 out of 9 found this review helpful
Very well made Binoculars. Very sturdy, smooth focus, wide neck strap, excellent light gathering and focus, very comfortable to hold. Highly recommended for birding etc.
cost for the best July 11, 2010 Zaher Mohamed 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
Although the Nikon binoculars are the best in the world in terms of quality indurance and specs. still they are too expensive but believe me its worth every penny.
Perfect! June 29, 2010 Still Learning (New York City) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Most popular binocs under $1,000 in my birding groups. Now I see why. Clear, light,BRIGHT, great close and far, waterproof. Birds and bugs clear with every marking visble. You can even see the veins on leaves. Don't need to look through my eyeglasses because the diopter is exceptional. Don't fret. Just buy these and have fun.
